McLean, Virginia, USA: iPlace is pleased to announce the appointment of Ghanshyam Vaswani as Chief Financial Officer and member of iPlace’s executive management team. Ghanshyam brings over 12 years of experience leading the financial operations for high growth companies as well as turning around poorly performing companies into professionally managed, profitable businesses.

Ghanshyam is based in iPlace’s International Recruiting Center in Pune, Maharashtra, India. He is an expert in financial management and taxation. He obtained his CA designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Ghanshyam has also completed his Advanced Diploma in Management Accountancy from Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, London.

Ghanshyam has taught Financial Management and Accounting to Chartered Accounting (similar to CPAs in the US) and MBA final year students and served as a visiting faculty for six years in IMS, Pune. He has also worked with various startups and enabled them to scale up rapidly fetching higher venture capital/private equity valuations.

At iPlace, Ghanshyam is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the company’s finance, accounting, treasury, and labor compliance functions. He manages and oversees financial and operational functions to drive business efficiencies and support growth opportunities for the company.
